Coffee Shop

We sat at the coffee shop
The distance between us was not the color
But the coffee we ordered
Life unveiled in the form of words
And we exchanged ideas with logic

There were doubts and questions
And answers were plenty
But it couldn’t touch the soul
Truth is tangible like coffee in the cup
But I was afraid it will be over

Silence conquered at times
We tried best to fill the void with words
The road looked like never ending
But there were unknown forces helping to put another step

People were gazing and passing by
Like an ocean flowing around us
Lucky that we didn’t immersed
She said words are magical
I thought Silence is reality
